Hotel Living for Rutgers Students
Rutgers University will lease hotel rooms for students during the 2009-2010 academic year. Students whose lottery numbers do not qualify them for an on-campus space may apply for a space in one of the designated hotels. Some of these rooms will be designated as temporary spaces, which means you would be assigned there only until a space becomes available on-campus no later than the end of the Fall semester. In addition, some of these spaces will be designated as permanent spaces, which means that you will remain in the space throughout the academic year.
All of the same regulations that exist on campus will be enforced in the hotels. In addition, no large room parties or extremely loud music will be allowed. As in on-campus residence halls, we will offer regular programs to help students get to know each other and socialize.
