Student residence halls (yes, they're also called dorms) provide the following equipment and facilities.In the rooms: A bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each student. Window coverings (drapes or blinds). Smoke detector Basic phone service (at least one working phone jack).

In the buildings (most residences have these facilities in the building): Laundry. Lounge (many with TV). Study area. Kitchen or kitchenette (many with microwaves). Food and beverage vending machines.

Conveniently nearby on each campus: dining hall(s), library computer lab(s), recreational center (Busch, College Avenue, and Cook offer swimming pools), campus activities center, numerous bus stops, public pay phones.
