Rutgers Housing-New Brunswick

Student residence halls (yes, they're also called dorms) provide the following equipment and facilities.

In the rooms: A bed, desk, chair, dresser, dining furniture (apartments), full size refrigerator (apartments), stove (apartments) and closet for each student. Window coverings (drapes or blinds). Smoke detector, sprinklers, and heat sensors. Basic phone service (at least one working phone jack). All single rooms come wtih a Microfridge.

In the buildings (most residences have these facilities in the building): Laundry. Lounge (many with TV). Study area. Kitchen or kitchenette (many with microwaves). Food and beverage vending machines.

Conveniently nearby on each campus: dining hall(s), library computer lab(s), recreational center (Busch, College Avenue, and Cook offer swimming pools), campus activities center, numerous bus stops, public pay phones.
